Gratitude – 03/12/2009
1. A job. Given the economic state, I need to be grateful that I am still employed.
Note that I said “need”, because I confess that sometimes it is hard to be grateful for work.
2. Louis CK on Conan O’Brien. I hadn’t heard of Louis before, but this segment cracked me up — and he has a point, to boot. We are a selfish bunch of spoiled prats.
3. Watchmen. Our roommate and I are planning to go see this tonight. I loved the book, and am pretty excited to see the movie. I doubt it will live up to the standards set by the novel, but I’m still looking forward to seeing how close they come to pulling it off.
