Gratitude – 12/16/2008

Today, I am grateful for:

1. Homemade bread.  My wife made a batch this weekend, and it is awesome.  There is also quite a lot of it; I had no idea just how much bread would expand when you leave it to rise.  I got the sense that we could just keep splitting the loaves out and leaving them to rise, and we could start some kind of Neverending Bread reacton.

2. PlayStation Home.  Not because it’s any good, but because it’s so very, very bad that it prompts reactions like this one. (Siege’s note: that link is not suitable for children).

3. Christmas.  I’m getting very excited to see our families again, and spending quality time with my nieces.  I have some new strategies for Hungry Hungry Hippos that I’m dying to try.
