Gratitude – 11/28/2008

Today, I am grateful for:

1. Robot Chicken Star Wars specials.  My wife doesn’t share my appreciation of them, but I probably laugh hard enough for the both of us.

2. Turkey.  We cooked a twenty-pounder for Thanksgiving, and now have substantial leftovers which I will happily eat for the next week.  I will also be eating the stuffing, potatoes Romanoff, and glazed carrots, along with several pies and cookie bars.  I will then spend the following week lying down a lot and puffing from being overfull.

3. Stardust. We watched this tonight on a whim, and found it surprisingly good.  It’s an imaginative fantasy, written with some intelligence and humour, and with a very strong cast.
